I have a master’s degree, and a certificate in Somatic Experiencing™ (SE). I also have training and expertise in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and other methods that help my clients heal their psychological and emotional wounds.
The methodologies I use address many situations, including accumulated stress from pressures of day-to-day life, difficulty in finding healthy relationships and trust, as well as trauma or neglect.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing with my grandsons, hiking, growing veggies in my garden, and learning everything I can about how to be the best therapist I can be for my clients!
So, Is Therapy Right for You?
All kinds of people can benefit from individual therapy. And I’ll say again; working with a therapist isn’t a sign of weakness, it’s a show of strength. The modern world is a difficult place to navigate; you don’t have to do it alone. A therapist can be your guide.
If Life Feels Complicated and Overwhelming, a Therapist Can Help
There are times when the pressures of living in today’s world can get us down; stress seems to come from everywhere. You may find that your friends or family don’t get your struggle. That’s when the help of a professional therapist can give you support and guidance. Whether it’s sorting out a difficult relationship, resolving intense anxiety, or just feeling more optimistic about life, having a therapist’s help can be truly life changing. The attentiveness and presence of a therapist is helpful in sorting through life’s challenges. It brings comfort to the process of figuring things out and helps with healing hurts from the past. Your therapist is your ally. Human beings are not meant to solve our problems without support. You deserve to feel your best, and it’s available to you through therapy.
