Who can Benefit from Individual Therapy?
People from all walks of life can benefit from individual therapy. Perhaps you are a perfectionist paralyzed by the impossible search for perfection. Maybe you are a survivor of a motor vehicle accident or medical trauma with issues to overcome. Perhaps you are suffering through traumatic grief, or struggling with a history of childhood trauma, abuse, or neglect. If talking to friends or family – not an option for many – isn’t much help, individual therapy might be the answer. For many, just living in today’s society is stressful; low self-esteem, isolation, anxiety, and depression are increasingly common in our post-pandemic world, as is having difficulty with genuine trust, intimacy, and affection.
Does this sound like the story of your life? If this rings true to you…I am willing and able to help.
Do you feel like your life is on repeat?
Just going through the motions, taking care of others… anticipating what other people need while feeling so disconnected and unimportant. You can do it in your sleep. But you wonder if there’s anyone there for you. It’s really lonely when you get right down to it. Working so hard to keep life on track can leave you feeling empty inside.
Do you feel worn down?
Your emotions are good… until they begin causing problems in your relationships. Is it sadness? Anger? Maybe both, and you say things you don’t mean. Sometimes you feel out of control, and that pops up almost out of nowhere. You feel confused or frustrated because you just have no patience with some people including yourself. It’s so hard to know who you can trust. Traumatic experiences keep you from feeling good about yourself and the future.
Do you dare to dream…?
…about a life where you feel appreciated and energetic! …about a life where you know who you are, and you know you’re alright!
How would it feel to have someone there, an experienced, kind, and compassionate person to help you find your way to freedom and a feeling of connection?
I’m willing and available to help.
Once you choose hope, anything is possible.
